Oxygen scavenger is a sodium bisulfite salt specially designed to be used as an oxygen scavenger. Its capability to remove oxygen from various water system is appreciable, so that corrosion resulted from oxidation can be eliminated significantly. This product is highly soluble in brine or sea water.

Oxygen scavenger should be added on a continue bases to effectively remove oxygen from water system. The recommended treating ratio is to be determined experimentally, however in general a blend of 20 part of the product to 1 part of oxygen usually sufficient.
